The location is excellent It is convenient to buses rail and ferry connections. The hotel is lovely with large warm rooms and comfortable beds. Staff were very friendly and cute. The breakfast choice was great I especially appreciated Amelia our waitress. She was a charming friendly young lady.
The whole hotel feels dated It needs refurbishment. My room was pretty basic with damaged paint and stained carpet. The furniture looked scruffy I found this disappointing as the hotel has a great history.
